Description

Located in a privileged place to enter the National Park of Sierra Nevada, Abla is always a point of passage to this magical mountain whose shade protects and presides over the life of its inhabitants. A place where a man, Antonio Herrerías, and his family are united, for whom hospitality has been his life. And he has shown it with the Posá El Tío Peroles, in homage to his ancestors, who for years already relieved from burden and fatigue travelers and muleteers in need of a hot meal, and now Antonio takes that legacy with a quality establishment and charm.

Warm table and first class service, for new travelers, businessmen, travelers and tourists who look for in the charm of the mountains a tailor-made establishment where you can find the gastronomy of the area but also the great gastronomy of quality and creativity that come out of these stoves.

His visit to the Venta del Serbal proved Antonio's dominance in the kitchen, of the red meats and of the fruits that the marvelous mountains give in autumn and spring. And like the good wines, Antonio Herrerías has been maturing a project that today is already a reference in the region. A charming establishment that has magnificent facilities for the diner to enjoy its gastronomic offer in this charming place.

Soils and noble socles, made by potters who continue to work the brick as Arabs and Almohads did hundreds of years ago. Tiles of the same trace, irregular, as if taken from the past.

A central patio, full of ribbons and geraniums gives way to the room, with a chimney that crackles in the winters, when from these windows you can see the Sierra Nevada snow, and the Nacimiento River with its clear water.

The length and breadth of the restaurant is strewn with memories and tools of the countryside, utensils of yesterday and today turned into ornaments, but in which still beats the traces of many hours of sweat and work.

To enter the Posá El Tío Peroles is to find the tranquility, the calmness and the peace that these walls offer. There is also the possibility of holding meetings and business meetings in the cellar, located in the basement, from which some very high quality broths are already emerging, such as the Tío Peroles red, with four months of barrel and a good level.
