Brief description:
The Environmental Education Centre El Molino de Lecrín Farm School is located in the South West foothills of the Sierra Nevada Natural Protection Area in Southern Spain. It develops different educational programmes with the purpose of offering society, particularly school children, an opportunity to get to know and access natural and rural environments, promote tolerance and respect towards other people and to the environment.
The centre extends over 30,000 m2 of land and includes irrigated gardens and an old rehabilitated flour mill which has been adapted to serve a new purpose as a hostel and farm school. On the other side of the river we have stables and barns for sheep, hens, ducks, a donkey and other animals
